Charity

For the last 30 years we have been involved in overseas aid work. This has mainly been providing glasses for people that don’t have the means to afford them. We have literally given away thousands of pairs of glasses to people in East Europe and Africa as well as a few disadvantaged people in the UK. We are currently active in The Gambia, Uganda and South Africa.

Our latest venture is an exiting new project to empower people to gain access to clean, safe water. We will lend them a drill, other equipment and provide training and support.

We are also involved with the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA). This is a charity that exists to support both adults and children with involvement with horses. We volunteer with a small branch of the RDA that operates from a riding school in Amersham. It has been lovely to witness the riders learning to ride, becoming more confident and generally having a good time. Smiles all round !
